Le symposium consistera en une présentation principale par le Dr Rahimy, suivie d'un débat avec la faculté canadienne. Pour la présentation principale, le Dr Rahimy passera en revue l'état actuel de la prise en charge de la DMLA et de l'OMD en soulignant l'évolution des traitements intravitréens anti-VEGF, les défis et les besoins non satisfaits auxquels sont confrontés les médecins et les patients. Le Dr Rahimy passera ensuite en revue certaines des données les plus récentes concernant l'aflibercept 8 mg. La deuxième partie du symposium comprendra une discussion de groupe axée sur des cas réels de patients aux États-Unis.
